We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure our services function properly, provide you with a seamless experience, and deliver personalized content. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device that typically contains an identifier, site name, and some numbers and characters. Cookies help us remember your preferences and settings.
We use cookies only for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely, though doing so may require you to manually adjust your settings each time you visit our site and may affect your user experience.
In addition to cookies, we use web beacons and pixel tags on our websites and in emails. For example, when we send you an email, it may contain a link to our website. Clicking that link allows us to track your engagement and better understand your interests so we can improve our services. Web beacons are typically transparent images embedded in websites or emails. Through email pixel tags, we can determine whether an email has been opened. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time if you prefer not to be tracked this way.

With Your Consent: We will share your information with third parties when you give us explicit permission to do so.
Legal Requirements: We may share your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
With Affiliates: Your information may be shared with CatIt's affiliated companies. We only share information necessary for the purposes stated in this policy. If an affiliate wants to use your information for a different purpose, they will seek your consent separately.
With Service Providers: Some of our services are provided by trusted partners. We may share certain information with these partners to deliver better customer service and user experience. We only share information necessary for providing these services and ensure our partners cannot use it for any other purpose.
We do not transfer your personal information to other companies, organizations, or individuals, except in the following circumstances:
With Your Consent: We will transfer your information only after obtaining your explicit consent.
Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, if your personal information will be transferred, we will require the receiving party to remain bound by this Privacy Policy or seek your consent anew.
We will only publicly disclose your personal information in the following situations:
With Your Consent: After obtaining your explicit consent.
Legal Disclosure: When required by law, legal process, litigation, or government authorities, we may be compelled to disclose your information publicly.
(1) We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. We take all reasonably practicable steps to safeguard your data. For example, we use SSL encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our services; we provide secure browsing via HTTPS; we encrypt data to ensure confidentiality; we deploy trusted protection mechanisms against malicious attacks; we implement access controls to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal information; and we conduct regular security and privacy training for our employees.
(2) We have obtained relevant information security certifications and conduct regular security audits. Our core systems have passed national information security level protection assessments.
(3) We take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure we do not collect irrelevant personal information. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
(4) The internet is not a completely secure environment. Email, instant messaging, and communications with other users are not encrypted. We strongly recommend that you do not send personal information through these channels. Please use strong passwords to help us keep your account secure.
(5) While we strive to protect your information, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the unfortunate event of a security incident, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law, including: the basic circumstances and potential impact of the incident; the measures we have taken or will take; recommendations for how you can reduce risk on your own; and remedies available to you. We will notify you promptly via email, letter, phone call, push notification, or other appropriate means. When it's difficult to notify individuals separately, we will issue a public announcement. We will also report the incident to regulatory authorities as required.
In accordance with privacy laws and regulations worldwide, we provide you with the following rights regarding your personal information:
You have the right to access your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions. To exercise your right to access, you can: access your account information—view or edit your profile information, payment details, change your password, add security options, or close your account through your account settings in our app.
If you cannot access your information through the methods above, you may email us at feedback@catit.cc. We will respond to your request within 15 days.
If you discover that the personal information we have about you is inaccurate, you have the right to request corrections. You can submit correction requests using the methods described in the "Access Your Information" section above.
You may request deletion of your personal information in the following circumstances:
If we approve your deletion request, we will also notify third parties who obtained your information from us to delete it promptly, unless otherwise required by law or authorized by you separately.
Each feature requires certain basic personal information to function. For additional data collection beyond what's necessary, you can grant or withdraw your consent at any time.
You can manage permissions by turning specific features on or off in your app settings.
When you withdraw consent, we will stop processing the corresponding information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect any processing that occurred based on your previous authorization.
You can close your account at any time through the account settings in our app.
After closing your account, we will stop providing services to you and delete your personal information as you request, except where retention is required by law.
You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information. You can request this by emailing feedback@catit.cc.
In certain features, we may make decisions based solely on automated systems and algorithms without human involvement. If such decisions significantly affect your legal rights or interests, you have the right to request an explanation, and we will provide appropriate remedies.
For security purposes, you may need to provide a written request or otherwise verify your identity before we can process your request. We may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding.
We will respond to your request within 15 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can also file a complaint by emailing feedback@catit.cc.
We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests. However, for requests that are repetitive, excessive, or unreasonable, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover our costs. We may decline requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing our practices), risk the privacy of others, or are highly impractical (such as requests involving data on backup tapes).
Our products, websites, and services are primarily intended for adults. Children may not create their own accounts without parental or guardian consent.
When we collect children's information with parental consent, we will only use or disclose it when permitted by law, explicitly authorized by a parent or guardian, or necessary to protect the child.
While definitions of "child" vary by jurisdiction, we consider anyone under 14 years of age to be a child.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
As a general rule, personal information we collect and generate within the People's Republic of China will be stored within China.
Because we provide products and services using resources and servers located around the world, with your consent, your information may be transferred to, or accessed from, jurisdictions outside your country of residence. These jurisdictions may have different data protection laws, or may not have such laws at all.
In such cases, we will ensure your information receives a level of protection substantially equivalent to that required in China. For example, we will request your consent for cross-border data transfers and implement security measures such as data de-identification before transferring data internationally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice, including for certain services, sending email notifications explaining the specific changes to the Privacy Policy.
